The Elko Veterinary Clinic has some new and exciting changes going on. The first being they have added two new veterinarians to their staff. Along with owners Dr. Alan Cuthbertson and Dr.Mike Perchetti the new veterinarians are ready to provide great services six days a week to Elko, Spring Creek and the outlying areas.
Dr. Dan Richardson is one of the two new doctors to join the practice. He graduated with the class of 2009, from Oregon State University College of Veterinary Medicine, where he earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. He has special professional interests in hunting and working dogs as well as livestock and also enjoys working with horses. Dr. Richardson comes to the Elko area from Yerington and is looking forward to all that Northeastern Nevada has to offer.
The second veterinarian is Dr. Blair Lybbert who graduated from Texas A&M University with a Doctor of Veterinary degree in 2008. He then did an internship at Retama Equine Hospital in San Antonio, Texas. The internship provided additional training and experience in the equine field. He will be providing horse-only medicine for Elko Veterinary Clinic. Equine sports medicine and dentistry are among some of Dr. Lybbert’s professional interests.
