Blair M. Lybbert, DVM

Dr. Lybbert is our newest veterinarian at Elko Veterinary Clinic. 

Dr. Lybbert graduated with a B.S. degree in Animal Science from Brigham Young University in 2004 and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Texas A&M University in 2008.  The following year was spent doing an internship at Retama Equine Hospital in San Antonio, TX.  The internship provided additional training and experience practicing horse-only medicine.

Equine sports medicine and dentistry are among Dr. Lybbert’s professional interests.  He is a member of the American Association of Equine Practitioners, the American Veterinary Medical Association, and the Nevada Veterinary Medical Association.  He also plays an active role in his church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
